These roles involve stock management, receipt to point of use. The general porter duties include transport of equipment and clinical and general waste management.

Within facilities, the role will also operate sterilising equipment when at the Hub laboratory. Within Phlebotomy the Porter will be required to collect samples from the phlebotomist teams on the wards.

Working hours are 20 hours per week. Our Facilities Department operate Monday to Sunday and bank holidays from 08:00- 20.00.

Due to the wide operating times, you would be working a combination of shifts each week which would include early and late shifts. Weekends and bank holidays are essential and also an expectation for this role, however, they are on a rotational basis.
