Brand PR & Social Content Officer
We are looking for a Brand PR and Social Content Officer to join our expanding team!
Working with the Senior Brand PR & Social Content Officer you'll deliver a strong and engaging PR and Influencer strategy to promote Brands at Next. You'll be responsible for creating & maintaining relationships with Fashion & Lifestyle Media and Influencers and help to drive all editorial and paid promotional activities. In this role you will also get to create engaging content for Next social media platforms and assist on any celebrity collaborations and their PR, Events and Social Media plans.
You will be working for a Senior Brand PR Officer in a dynamic and fast paced press office alongside 2 further Seniors and 3 Officers. It is a hard working friendly team, with an emphasis on teamwork, camaraderie and new ideas.
This role can be offered as a hybrid working role with part office/ part home working weekly. The office base will be Tottenham Court Road, London.
About the role
Working with the Senior PR Officer to build a calendar of PR opportunities to support wider business messages, from always-on communications to higher profile paid promotions and social campaigns.
Writing press releases, create appropriate mailing lists, coordinating the social plans to announce the launch of all relevant collaborations/new brands to gain as much PR/social coverage as possible
Working on paid ambassador activities for Brands alongside the Senior PR Officer, to help approve the chosen influencers, the product selection and final assets.
Working on press events for Brand, including the two main press events (Christmas and Summer) as well as smaller and more targeted Brand events/meetings.
Responsible for collating all analysis of our PR, Social and Ambassador content by working closely with external parties as well as internal stakeholders.
Must have 3+ years experience in a PR related role
Experience working across multiple brands
Flexible working, but willing to work across both our London and Leicester offices as required
The candidate should have existing media relationships within the fashion & lifestyle (Home) industry, and an ability to secure PR coverage & support within this media.
Ability to identify PR opportunities and maximise such opportunities
Have a keen interest in retail fashion and lifestyle trends.
A keen interest in social media
Ability to create good working relationships with internal teams and external influencers/celebs.
Great organisational skills and able to project manage a number of projects concurrently
