Responsible for the effective delivery of Health & Safety processes at Sky Studios Elstree (SSE), the Health and Safety Advisor will play a key role to protect H&S of the site and its users, whilst enabling them to achieve their creative vision. This person will be passionate about ensuring our clients have an outstanding experience whilst on site.

What you'll do:
  • Be the main point of contact for Sky Studios Elstree (SSE) and work with the wider teams at the studios to develop their skills and accountability in H&S.
  • Delivery of Health & Safety support to Sky Studios, taking on responsibility delivery of new initiatives, projects, and programmes.
  • Responsible for reviewing high-risk activities on the site and providing solutions that protect the safety and continuity of the site and enable the business by being ready and able to react in emerging issues and incidents
  • Positively influencing key stakeholders including 3rd parties to encourage a positive safety culture throughout Sky Studios
  • Act as subject matter expert in the development and delivery of projects to improve the levels of safety afforded to all Sky colleagues
  • Challenge the norm in the search for outstanding culture at Sky in all areas relating to Health & Safety
What you'll bring:
  • Health and Safety expert with a H&S qualification. Experience of high-end TV / Film production or studio facilities is desirable.
  • Experience working in fast paced organisations with growth appetites
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice and operating procedures.
  • Detailed knowledge of, and ability to advise upon, health & safety matters, resilience issues, risk management and H&S legislation.
  • An ability to advise on policy and guidance that meets the legislative requirement and the business needs
  • Sound influencing and persuading skills with the ability to adopt different approaches and styles of influencing depending on the circumstances
