We're looking for a Chef who loves to cook and loves being a team player.
Experience of being a Chef in a commercial environment is required. Experience of being a Chef in a care home environment is helpful but not essential.
Requirements of the Chef Role:
- To be a good cook with high standards
- Be keen to seek feedback from residents and make adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction
- To be dependable and committed
- To be very focused on food safety and hygiene standards
- To work well as part of a team
- To carefully monitor stocks, staffing levels, portion control, quality, etc. in accordance with the budgetary controls provided
- To personally observe measures relating to health and safety, hygiene and food safety requirements
- To ensure suppliers are properly checked on delivery and that invoices are correct
- To work within the COSHH and Safer Food Better Business Guidelines and supervise the keeping of such logs and records as many be deemed necessary
Requirements:
- Must have been double vaccinated for Covid-19.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
Shift patterns:
- 27 hours per week (3 shifts of 7am - 5pm)
