We have an exciting opportunity for a SPAR Food To Go Assistant who likes to have fun working with a team and is passionate about offering excellent service and standards to our customers.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, hands-on and enjoys working in retail.

Some Responsibilities:

To assist in maximising sales and profit of the fresh food operation by carrying out allocated tasks.
To deliver customer service in line with SPARkling Service standards
To contribute ideas for driving the department and it's team forward
Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty
To comply with relevant legislation and health and food safety responsibilities as defined in the induction period and training
Some Skills/Experience:

Basic education (numeracy and literacy) essential
Basic Food Hygiene - must have or be prepared to undertake this qualification
Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred but not essential
Reliably follows instructions and procedures

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Min 20 Hours P/W - possibly more hours when the store needs.
Salary: Up to GBP8.91 p/hr (depending on age)
