At The HR Dept we work with a multitude of different clients in and around the Bristol, Bath and North Somerset area, ranging from well known local attractions, restaurants and retail to schools, professional services and charities, among others. We provide HR and employment law advice so a person with strong statutory law knowledge would be perfect.

We are a close team, who pride themselves on the support they give to each other. Everyday is different, we have a huge diversity of work, which means maximum exposure to all levels of HR. The learning and progression here is massive and throughout your time, we offer opportunities for development and professional qualifications.

Family comes first, we offer flexibility for you to work around your family life, a family day off every year and great work life balance. Part time will be considered for this role but every day of the working week would need some presence. We offer hybrid working, 2 days in the office and 3 at home.

Qualifications and Experience:

CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience/qualification

Chairing/Attending HR meetings

Strong up to date knowledge of Employment Law

Able to work on your own initiative

Excellent written and verbal communication and be able to influence others at all levels

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Well presented, professional appearance

A sense of humour!
