Job Details

Data Integration Developer - London £55-65,000
The Data Integration Developer is responsible for delivering high quality Data applications, ETL processes and operational reports following development best practices and security standards, as well as providing 2nd and 3rd level support for those same applications. The post holder will be required to work closely with our suppliers and partners delivering solutions to meet the business needs and therefore requires strong communication, planning, and co-ordination skills.
Application Development-

*Work with stakeholders, business users and product owners to ensure business requirements are defined and agreed
*Deliver development and enhancement activities in support of business raised change requests, working closely with other IT Teams, Partners and Suppliers
*Participate in scrum events and take an active part in continuously improving the ways of working of the team
*Ensure development meets quality standards and aim to provide an excellent user experience
*Minimise applications technical debt and guarantee that non-functional requirements are considered and addressed as part of development activities
*Contribute to elevate the quality of the team's delivery and complete peer code reviews when required
*Work with development team lead and release management team to improve the build and deploy processes
*Provide advice and guidance to users in support of their application requirements

Application Support

*Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across key data applications. Categorising and progressing service requests, incidents, problems and changes, in-line with industry best practices (i.e. ITIL) ensuring end-users are regularly updated on progress.
*Coordinate and direct suppliers where 3rd party suppliers are required to deliver the end-to-end support capability, ensuring end-users are regularly updated on progress against their service request /incident /problem /change request.

*Power BI
*Design of complex SSIS or DTSX packages using Package and Project deployment configurations
*SOAP web services and REST APIs
*JSON and XML
*Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
*Creating complex T-SQL queries (Dynamic SQL, Cursors etc.)
*SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
*Visual Studio 2017 or higher
*Version control and branching methodologies using GIT
*CI/CD
*OWASP Top 10 security framework
*Agile and SCRUM
*Azure DevOps or similar tool
*Azure cloud platform
*Azure SQL database
*Azure Data Factory
