Talent Acquisition Manager (Part time - 20-30 hours per week)

This is an excellent opportunity for a external senior recruitment professional looking to take their first step inhouse or an existing internal recruiter looking to take on more responsibility.

The hours are flexible between 20-30 per week and will be discussed on application.

Overview of the Talent Acquisition Manager Role:

You would be a key member of the Leadership Team reporting to the Managing Director, responsible for supporting the operational business in attracting, proactively sourcing, assessing, and securing high calibre candidates.

Develop a strong external knowledge of the market to establish an evolving sourcing and TA strategy for researcher to consultant positions.

Design, develop and deliver a commercially effective sourcing strategy for researcher and consultant positions.

Deliver high quality proactively sourced candidates in keeping with Pioneer Selection's headcount requirements.

To manage the TA marketing strategy and assist in its execution to attract high calibre candidates.

Proactively and professionally represent Pioneer Selection in the external market as an employer of choice for candidates using our EVP.

Continuously carry out market research to determine the best methods to identify and attract. potential candidates and implement these into the recruitment strategy.

Proactively map out the sources for quality candidates in your market and look at ways to increase the volume of candidates generated from each source.

Proactively promote the internal and external referral scheme to maximise candidate referrals and revaluate the scheme if required.

Ensure that attractive advertising copy is posted on relevant job boards and social media and monitor its performance.

Develop strong relationships with key candidates, to keep Pioneer Selection at the forefront when looking for a career move or to gain referrals.

Build strong relationships with the Management team to understand the recruitment needs and exact requirements of each vacancy.

Ensure that the TA process is well-managed, to successful completion with key internal and external stakeholders informed at each stage.

Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to TA with a focus on high conversion rates and ROI.

Undertake thorough, fair and well-evidenced interviews with potential candidates, including briefing them on our interview process and effectively managing their expectations.

Monitor the status of all vacancies and time per hire and present any relevant data to the Management team on a monthly basis.

Maintain all relevant company documents relating to recruitment and retention.

Continuously look at new methods and strategies to improve staff retention across the business with the management team.

Hold monthly meetings with new recruits for the first 3 months to gain progress updates and feedback and communicate back to the relevant manager.

Deliver exit interview strategy with all leavers and analysis information to feedback into business to improve talent acquisition, training and employee engagement.

Ensure the effective setup and on-boarding of new starters within Pioneer Selection including the induction.

Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to the acquisition and onboarding of talent into Pioneer Selection with a focus on aiding retention.

Personal skills:

Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

Demonstrate managerial competancies.

Have a continuous improvement mentality, whilst also practicing self-development.

Solve problems and make decisions based on sound evidence.

Able to challenge, support and influence management and leadership team to continually evolve the TA approach.

Capable of active listening and understanding different views.

Time mastery skills, particularly in prioritisation and planning.

Preferred experience:

Experienced a fast-moving relationship-based contingency recruitment environment.

Management experience.

Business development experience.

Experience working in a growing business environment.

Proven recruitment experience internally or externally.

Talent Acquisition Manager Package:

GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 full time equivalent basic salary + commission (GBP10,000 - GBP15,000 OTE).
