A professional national organisation in the Hull area are seeking a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to work at their Head Office located in Hull for between 20-30 hours per week.

Duties & tasks will include:

•Deal with accounts payable process for the group across its 8 business locations. Ensure that the supplier ledgers are up to date and invoices are paid in a timely manner

•Registering invoices, matching to orders, ensuring appropriate sign off and filing and dealing with supplier queries

•Responsible for effective communication both internally and externally.

•Monitor and review open purchase orders

•Reconciliation of supplier statements

•Deal with other accounting matters including petty cash, fuel cards etc

•Provide cover and support to other members of the finance team as required

•Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Essential experience:

•Understanding of purchase ledger processes

•Good excel skills
