Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant with good Microsoft office skills, a high level of attention to detail and working knowledge of WCBS PASS, or similar accounting software package? If so, we would love to hear from you.
This is a busy, varied role undertaking all aspects of the billing ledger process, ensuring that all billing accounts are accurately represented. Working as part of the finance team your duties will include updating the static data within the billing ledger, updating fee related information (including bursaries and scholarships) and processing pupil recharges.
It is essential that you are able to prioritise your workload in order to meet tight timescales and have clear written and oral communication skills in dealing with all key stakeholders. We require someone with experience of general ledger account reconciliations and working knowledge of accounting processes, controls and accounting standards.

Contractual Details
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week (phone number removed) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break).
* Contract: This is a permanent position working 40 weeks per year. 34 weeks, including INSET during Downside School terms, plus 1 week at the end of the Michaelmas Term, 1 week during the Easter holiday, 3 weeks in July and 1 week at the end of August. We will also consider someone who wishes to work all-year, 25 hours per week.
* Salary: GBP21,500 pro rata per annum.
