Mortgage Collections Officer
Introduction:
This is a great role for someone looking to work for an established and community driven organisation. This financial organisation provides mortgage and savings to their members. Focused on mortgages, this role will assist in reducing arrears, repossessions, and loss for the organisation's members and provide fair outcomes for members.
As a mutual organisation, there are no shareholders, and therefore is owned by the members with live products. The right person for this role will have a desire to help people and to deliver excellent services by treating borrowers fairly and devising affordable repayment solutions.
Responsibilities of the Mortgage Collections Officer include:
You will have proactive relationship management experience and enjoy taking ownership of your work and working easily within a team. You will have managed arrears cases successfully, ideally within the residential mortgage collections specialism. Responsibilities include dealing with complex arrears or repossession cases, posting payments, applying missed payment fees and issuing letters.
Requirements for the Mortgage Collections Officer include:
Able to travel to the office-based role to at their Head Office in Ipswich town, however after a 3m probationary period, hybrid working is available.
Working patterns available (salary will be pro rata that advertised if part time)

o Full time permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
o Part time permanent, 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm
o Part time permanent, 28 hours a week, 4 days (any combination of days between Monday and Friday), 9am to 5pm
