We have a fantastic opportunity working within the following role:

Finance Assistant / Book-keeper

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

GBP15 - GBP17 per hour (GBP29,250 - GBP33,150 equivalent)

15 hours a week - they are flexible as to whether you do this in 2 full days or in part days across the week

Location: Remote / Home working but with the induction in Pembury.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping/data entry
  • Processing of Practice and supplier invoices
  • Ensuring appropriate authorisation of all invoices and expenses
  • Timely payment of approved invoices and expenses
  • Payroll duties, including liaising with HR and our external payroll provider
  • Banking duties, including monitoring the bank accounts and making payments/transfers as necessary
  • Provision of accurate financial information, as required
  • Assisting with information to be sent to external parties, as required

It is essential that you have extensive experience within Bookkeeping and Payroll, with excellent IT skills. You will have strong communication skills with knowledge of at least one recognised accounting package. A Professional Accountancy Qualification would be preferred but is not essential if you have solid experience.
