Interested in a development role? We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the dietetics team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust in our hospitals. This is an exciting Band 5/6 post supporting within acute medicine based at Conquest and Eastbourne District General Hospitals, with the opportunity to progress to a Band 6 once fully trained. This is a unique opportunity to work collaborative with our integrated community colleagues to provide seamless patient care across pathways.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and friendly acute dietetic team with a range of experience. There will be opportunities to work alongside senior dietitians in order to develop your clinical and leadership skills to fulfil a band 6 role in acute medicine.

East Sussex is steeped in history and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We have stunning coastline, green spaces and a variety of events and festivals suitable for adults and children, plus we're close to London and Gatwick for travel.

To work as part of the acute dietetic team to support the specialist nutrition and dietetic management of medical patients, at Hastings and Eastbourne hospitals. Using specialist knowledge and skills to assess and treat a variety of patients. There is opportunity to develop the clinical skills needed to work in ITU/HDU settings, support students and manage nutritionally complex patients as part of the band 6 progression aspect of this role.

Our friendly dietetic team consists of over 40 dietitians and dietetic assistants across our acute and community sites. We're a vibrant department striving to keep up with new research and technology.
