More about the role:

?? Manage a variety of our services, to provide high quality meals for our busy restaurant service in our Extra Care Older Persons Service.

?? Taking responsibility for dietary and cultural needs as per resident food profiles.

?? Complete mandatory administrative documentation, recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback on handover to the Chef Manager. Handle customer enquiries and complaints.

?? Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines including the Registered Homes Act 1984.

?? Take responsibility for own time management, managing staff, placing orders, booking residents meal provision, delivering on tasks and maintain the standards set by the Catering Manager.

?? Flexibility to cover extra shifts as required. Covering any role within the service as required by Catering manager.

More about you:

?? Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math & English (Grades A* - C)

?? C&G 706/1 706/2 , Chef diploma or NVQ Level 4 Cooking qualification, preferably in a Care and Support environment

?? Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook calendar

?? Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

?? Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for travel
