Whether you're new to care environments or experienced, you'll be making a world of difference when you join us as a Kitchen Assistant in our Deaf Services at Achieve together.

Location: Bath; BA2

Contract / Shifts available: Full- and part-time available. Shifts may vary depending on need.

Rate: GBP8.91 p/h (GBP17,374.50 p/a based on 37.5hr week)

Your new job: You'll play a vital part in providing balanced meals to people with hearing loss and complex needs.

Your role is to:

Organise the store room and check stock levels, as well as stock rotation
Unload deliveries from suppliers
Take instructions from a chef
Order supplies from suppliers
Ensure chefs are equipped with the food and tools they need
Help the chef get ready for service by preparing food. Catering assistants may be expected to peel, trim or wash food so it is ready to be cooked
Load and unload the dishwasher
Help to serve meals to people we support
