Manchester City Centre

GBP37,000 - GBP46,000 per annum FTE (actual salary - GBP22,200 - GBP27,600)

Part-time - 3 days per week - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

This role will be a mixture of office and home based so all applicants must be able to travel easily to Manchester City Centre.

We are looking for an experienced Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager for a large regulatory body based in Manchester City Centre. This role will involve working on a variety of projects and supporting departments with ED&I issues, policies and plans.

We are looking for someone with a passion for ED&I to make a real difference within an organisation.

Duties will include:

Providing expert advice and support to line managers and teams
Ensuring compliance with equality legislation
Identifying ED&I considerations in policy development and processes
Engaging with diverse groups and stakeholders
Analysing ED&I activity
Designing and delivering learning solutions
Representing the ED&I team at internal meetings and events
Keeping up with ED&I developments
Supporting the team in their development

We are looking for candidates with:

Experience in a similar managerial role
Able to demonstrate a passion and commitment to ED&I and ideally experience of introducing relevant policies and training
Strong project management skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to organise your own workload effectively including when working remotely
Good communication skills particularly with stakeholders
