Agrochemical Scientist, Part-time

My client, a pioneering start-up organisation within the AgriTech industry are in urgent need of a Part-time Agrochemical Scientist to join their team at an exciting time of growth!

Joining the company in their Oxford office, the Principal Scientist / Agrochemical Scientist will join a small technically excellent team of Chemists, Scientists and Toxicologists, focussing mainly identification of chemical compounds through complex chemical synthesis.

This pioneering start-up have developed a range of powerful platforms, that when used in conjunction with artificial intelligence, enable the discovery of new herbicides. This Oxford University spin-out company are already making waves in the AgriTech industry and with an enormous amount of financial backing are set to expand rapidly over the next 12 months!

What's required of the Principal Scientist?

• A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biology or Plant Sciences

• Commercial experience working within the Agrochemical, Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology industry

• Experience with complex chemical synthesis
