Computational Chemist, Part-time

My client, a pioneering start-up organisation within the AgriTech industry are in urgent need of a Part-time Computational Chemist to join their team at an exciting time of growth!

The Computational Chemist will take a leading role in my clients Chemistry team, working with both internal and external specialists to conduct a range of crucial activities paramount to the company's success.

The Company

This pioneering start-up have developed a range of powerful platforms, that when used in conjunction with artificial intelligence, enable the discovery of new herbicides. This Oxford University spin-out company are already making waves in the AgriTech industry and with an enormous amount of financial backing are set to expand rapidly over the next 12 months!

What's required of the Computational Chemist?

• A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Computational Chemistry

• Experience with Homology modelling / comparative protein modelling

• Experience with conformational analysis

• Knowledge of structure-based and ligand-based design

• Commercial experience working within the Agrochemical, Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology industry would be highly desired
