THE SCHOOL

SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with a welcoming and innovative primary school part of a federation, based in the London Borough of Hackney. The school have been graded as 'Outstanding' and are in the process of recruiting an enthusiastic EdTech Specialist who is passionate about developing education technology within schools to strengthen learning approaches and support for students and teachers.

Technology is a key driver for the school's vision due to it's potential to open possibilities and reimagine learning experiences and also supports them in providing a first-class education for all its students.

Since 2015, the school have held Apple Distinguished Schools status, recognised by Apple for continuous innovation in learning, teaching and the school environment. Through the use of Google Workspace for Education they seamlessly integrate learning at home and school.

The school is part of a network of 42 EdTech demonstrators spread across England. Their aim is to offer support to schools and colleges in developing digital strategies which make effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning in schools.

EDTECH SPECIALIST ROLE

Our client school is seeking a creative EdTech Specialist with a proven track record of excellent teaching that utilised education tech to improve outcomes for learners.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the schools that work in partnership with the federation's EdTech demonstrator programme to implement and deliver an effective digital strategy.
Collaborating with teachers and leaders at the federation to sustain innovation within schools.
Sharing models of best practice by coordinating school visits, teaching demo lessons, CPD sessions and organising teacher showcase events.
Maintaining a network within the wider EdTech education sector, including Apple and Google.

The successful candidate must have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
A proven track record of excellent teaching that utilises the potential of technology to improve outcomes for learners.
An excellent understanding of a range of digital software and hardware as well as the benefits of long-term implementation of technology.
Be passionate about using digital tools in the classroom to engage pupils, promote accessibility and support teacher workload.
Have experience of delivering effective school wide training and peer to peer support.
