We have part-time hours available working from 1 to 4 days per week, we also have full time roles available 5 days per week please apply to talk with us around your availability, (no split shifts).

We are looking for a cook to join our kitchen team at Gloucester Services where you will be responsible for preparing our own dishes to ensure the best tasting and quality food is on offer.

Cook responsibilities;
It begins with preparation and planning. Working with your customer facing colleagues you will ensure food is ready and available to serve to our customers throughout the day
Following our seasonal recipes, you will ensure that food is cooked and presented to specification, checking levels and demand to ensure we only offer fresh quality products
You will maintain a clean, tidy and safe kitchen, willing to scrub in whenever needed to ensure an excellent working environment.
Responsible for the food hygiene systems you will ensure the kitchen is compliant to deliver the best quality dishes and complete all relevant company records and HACCP paperwork
Offer up to date knowledge and advice on all our food to customers and colleagues, to ensure to help maximise the full sales potential from the food counters to delight our customers
Communicate and escalate any product issues or concerns to your team leader to help keep the flow of delicious food available
Embrace learning! You will undertake any further training required, whether refreshing your knowledge or developing your skills.
Share your knowledge to get the best out of your team. You will help coach and train new colleagues and communicate new menu launches and changes to the customer facing teams

This role is part time hours, 3 days or 4 days per week (21.75 or 29 hours per week). Please speak to us about your availability. Our Kitchen is open 6am to 10pm every day.
