A manufacturing organisation based in North Shields are seeking a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their business. This will be a part time role for approximately 4 days a week. There will be an option of home working upon successful completion of your probation.

A manufacturing organisation based in North Shields are seeking a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their business. This will be a part time role for approximately 4 days a week. There will be an option of home working upon successful completion of your probation.
The Role
- Processing invoices against purchase orders where applicable or directly to GL codes
- Obtaining approvals for non PO invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- GRNI reconciliation
- Resolving invoice queries - liaising with suppliers and colleagues as required
- Processing employee expense claims
- Posting credit card statements & ensuring invoices have been received and approved for all expenditure
- Supplier payment runs
- Providing spend analysis to budget holders for key cost accounts
- Maintaining supplier information in the ERP system
The Person
- Previous experience within Purchase Ledger is essential
- Strong user of Excel
- Knowledge of an ERP system would be beneficial.
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Detail-orientated, ability to multitask and prioritise tasks with strict deadlines
