Here at Nagel Langdons, we have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Transport Administration Assistant to join the team based at our Bridgwater depot. You will be working on a part time, temporary basis working Monday - Friday 4pm -8pm. In return you'll receive a competitive salary of GBP10.00 per hour. This role has the potential to become permanent.

The Transport Administration Assistant role:

Your role will be to assist transport colleagues to ensure that incoming and outgoing deliveries for designated customers are efficiently and effectively dealt with and that all relevant records are created and maintained

What you'll be doing as our Transport Administration Assistant:

Assist the Transport Team with planning and communicating routes to drivers

Assist drivers with downloading tacho records and identifying any discrepancies or omissions

Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved

Update and maintain electronic and manual records in accordance with company systems

Advise and guide other colleagues where required

Provide cover for the Depot Administrator, Customer Service and Warehouse Teams where required

What are we looking for in our Transport Administration Assistant?

Qualified to Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent

Experience of working in a team based office environment, preferably in a customer facing role

IT literate in Microsoft Office packages, and have clear skills in using Excel

Abilty to take clear and concise minutes in a variety of meetings

Ability to work to fluid targets and dealines

High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven arithmetic skills

Effective working unsupervised and in a team-based environment
