Willmott Dixon are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager who will working with our health sector customer in the Sussex region to create profitable, knowledge-based customer relationships for mutual growth.

You will be the focal point for all our customer needs and stakeholders ensuring we are meeting their needs and that we are delivering on all our project obligations to an exceptional standard. Making customer satisfaction a top priority.

The Account Manager will need to have excellent customer facing skills and the ability to build great relationships with all the key stakeholders that will be involved in the projects that we undertake. The role will involve managing all the stakeholders for multiple projects (eg customer, architects, consultants, NHS Trust stakeholders, our project teams etc.) which are likely to all be at different stages and each offering their own unique challenges. You will therefore need to be able to multi-task and can prioritise your workload accordingly.

Although this role is specifically managing a customer in the health sector our Interiors business delivers complex fit-out and refurbishment projects to private and public sector customers, across a range of sectors, including the commercial office, education, health, heritage, hotels, leisure and retail sectors and is a profitable part of the £1.3bn Willmott Dixon Group; that specialises in construction, interiors, property asset management and residential development. We are currently 5th place on The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to work for and a Times Top 50 Employer for Women 2021.

This is a hybrid role with you working from home, visiting projects and customers within the Sussex region and visiting our main office as required. Our office in Farringdon (when you need to go to it - how times have changed!) is within easy reach of several stations: Blackfriars, Cannon Street, Farringdon, Fenchurch Street, Holborn, Liverpool Street and Waterloo and all the fantastic amenities, our customers and food destinations that part of London offers!

Essential skills

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proven track record of influencing and inspiring.
  • Knowledge and ability to create and maintain performance monitoring reports.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent written skills and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Can build lasting, long term relationships.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Qualifications/training

  • Ideally degree educated.
  • Good understanding of customer account management.
  • Solid administration and IT skills - Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, outlook.
