Job title: Communications and Marketing Executive

Location: Flexible working available, where you will be based out of our Loughton office ideally 1 day a week with home working available, and travel to national sites expected few times a month

Business Area: Kier Places - Housing Maintenance & Facilities Management

Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract - we are flexible if you wish to be contracted between 3 and 6 months

Hours: we can offer this role as either full time or part time and offer flexible hours - please specify in your application

Salary: GBP28-35k basic depending on experience, plus competitive benefits package

Kier Places are recruiting now for a passionate & creative Communications and Marketing Executive to develop and drive our communications and marketing strategy within our Housing Maintenance & Facilities Management business unit.

Key Responsibilities

As a Communications and Marketing Executive, we will look to you to plan and implement a range of internal and external communication activities to build brand awareness and enhance our engagement with our internal business and external partners. This includes, but is not limited to, copywriting and devising both weekly and monthly internal communications publications; strategising our social media content; executing successful marketing campaigns; playing an active role in organising and attending exhibitions; and support the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications as required.

Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing, you'll work closely with Kier Places' Managing Director, supporting weekly, monthly & quarterly communications with the Senior Leadership Team, our Kier Places' colleagues of all levels, and external communications to clients & press.

What do we need from you?

Are you the right person for this role? If you have the ability to produce outstanding & compelling communications materials for both internal and external coverage, and have a unique ability to develop strong positive relationships both through face-to-face engagement and through the power of marketing - then this could be the role for you.

If you can also bring with you proven copywriting experience designed to engage successfully with your target market; and previous experience of creating digital marketing campaigns and content for social media channels (LinkedIn & Twitter), email marketing and other platforms - then we want to hear from you today. It would also be a bonus if you have experience of writing press releases, CIPR or CIM qualifications, and B2B experience.
