Concept Resourcing are currently looking to recruit an Experienced IT Deskside Support Engineer within/ commutable to Chester, Cheshire.
The purpose of the role is to provide deskside support to the end users onsite. This will involve support across both the hardware and software estate along with system administration.

Package information:

• 9:00am - 17:30pm*
• Monday AND Friday ONLY every week throughout contract duration
• Client may consider increasing days if necessary
• Contract will start ASAP and will be a monthly rolling contract.
• With possibility to contract direct at end of 3 month period.
• GBP140 per day payable via umbrella (inside IR35)

Responsibilities and requirements:

• A mixture of build and re imaging of new and existing hardware devices
• Back up and transfer of existing user data
• Handover of devices once configuration and build has been completed
• Perform basic kit checks
• React to customer incidents and service requests and manage through to a successful resolution
• Deliver desk-side support services to the end user
• Deliver both hardware and software breakfix services for all kit across the site
• Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on desktop devices
• Support, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of desktops, including patch updates and hardware replacements
• Support basic networking activities

The candidate:

• Previous experience of working onsite for an End Client
• Previous experience of providing Desktop Support to all levels of users
• Provide the client with high levels of customer service and have a proven background in doing so.
• Good knowledge and experience in Microsoft Desktop Software and Operating Systems
• Support client systems, service and deploy computer equipment.
• An understanding of network protocols, server hardware and configurations or other IT qualifications

This contract has been deemed and inside IR35 role, therefore you will need to be paid via umbrella company. The above rates are the umbrella company rates subject to weekly fee and deductions
