Temporary Finance Administrator (Part-time)

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to take on an exciting Part-time assignment with a fabulous organisation in North Oxford.

This lovely team are looking for someone who can hit the ground running by assisting with a range of administrative tasks within the finance team on duties such as payroll and HR. This long-term role starts immediately and has the potential to become a permanent position once the temporary assignment has completed.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

The client is flexible with start and finish times as well as days, however it must be at least 3 days per week. To give you an idea of the structure the current working pattern is:

Monday - 7:30am to 1pm

Wednesday - 7:30am to 1pm

Thursday - 7:30am - 12noon

Temporary Finance Administrator (Part-time) Responsibilities

As the Temporary Finance Administrator your main responsibilities will be:

Assisting the Finance Manager with system implementation
Running an efficient purchase ledger and sales ledgers
Managing day to day financial transactions and procedures
Assisting with the payroll process
Providing complex administration support
Undertaking specific projects and initiatives
Deputising for colleagues in the Finance department

Temporary Finance Administrator (Part-time) Experience

The candidate should have:

Experience in a similar fast paced finance role

Temporary Finance Administrator (Part-time) Rewards

Holiday pay is offered alongside the hourly rate. You will be working in a supportive environment alongside friendly and encouraging staff.

The Location

Our client is located in North Oxford (OX4), and there is on-site parking available, as well as public transport links.

The Company

Part time hours are 18 - 20 hours, 3 days per week

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the role and organisation, it will be necessary to take out an enhanced DBS before you can start in the role, as well as an adult/child workforces check.
