Summary
Job title: Personal assistant (PA)

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the employer:
My client is a 55-year-old Gentleman that lives alone in a council flat in the Wednesfield area of Wolverhampton. My client is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 6 hours per week with encouragement with all personal care, cooking, cleaning, and support with opening & reading post and attending any health appointments.

My client has mobility issues after suffering a motorbike 15 years ago. He also suffers with Sciatica, Vertigo, high blood pressure and has 4 previous heart attacks and 2 strokes. My client also suffers with depression and anxiety.

Main duties:
Social duties
attend any appointments
attend medical appointments
attend social events and access the community
support with grocery shopping when required

Personal care: Support & encouragement with bathing/showering, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, administering medication, eating.

Domestic duties: Support with grocery shopping, cooking, and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, and opening & reading post.

These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Rate of pay: GBP9.50 Per hour
