Sales Manager/Line Manager/Coach
We have an interesting new flexible role at RecWorks. We are looking for someone who comes from either a sales management or line management background but is not looking for a high stress/full time role; instead is looking to apply their skills and provide a bridge between the directors and several teams within our business. This role is part of a trial to understand whether and to what extent management can be done by freelancers on a part-time basis within our business.
We are looking for someone who will have ideally come from a sales management or some kind of performance-related management background, though we'll take on someone with more experience on the coaching side of things. Your role will be to work with some of our teams: to keep in touch with the members, ensure they are aligned on tasks, find and communicate any immediate challenges (or resolve simple challenges).
We expect you will carry out regular one to one (1:1) meetings with them as well as potentially organise and host some team meetings, then report to directors on progress or challenges.
We need you to have superb communication skills, a friendly and positive personality and previous management experience in some kind of performance-related position. This may well suit someone with a coaching background or naturally motivational personality.
At RecWorks we are primarily a recruitment company with a difference. We believe that recruitment can be a force for good in the industry by giving back to those we have worked with before but also paying it forward to those we hope to work with in the future. To this end, we run 14 tech communities with regular events happening online.
We can be relatively flexible with hours, working around school hours or similar is absolutely fine.
You will not need any prior experience in this space or with the related technologies, though you will need to be someone that is happy to pick up new technologies and processes quickly.
We expect that this would suit someone that has a background in sales, coaching or management, though we are open-minded in who we will interview/employ.
You must be personable in nature, kind-hearted, honest and friendly. We also require that you have strong written and verbal communication skills since most of the work will be speaking with people on the phone or through email.
