Part Time Finance Manager
21 hours a week
GBP50-55k pro rata
Our client is a firm of Architects located in North West London with a diverse portfolio of built work spans the UK, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to join their fast-expanding business on a part time basis (21 hours flexi). This is a part time role and a great opportunity for a finance professional to take responsibility for all financial aspects of an interesting business, working with external accountants. Responsibilities will include:
* Management Accounting
* Setting budgets, monitoring revenue and expenditure and reporting on a monthly basis
* Forecast revenues, expenditure and cash flow to enable business decisions to be taken
* Managing the P&L for each project in line with client contracts, flagging any variances or issues
* Managing and reconciling cash flow
* Collating information for month-end and year-end returns, liaising with the external Accountant
* Client invoicing, liaison with project managers with reference to client contracts and timesheets, invoice clients in accordance with the contracts for time, materials and rechargeable expenses
* Producing statements of accounts & Preparing VAT returns
* Processing all invoices through Sage 50, checking invoices against PO's
* Payroll: liaising with external payroll company, processing payroll, making payroll payments including salaries, NIC and taxes
Candidates applying should hold a relevant accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or AAT and have a least 5 years experience working as a Finance Manager in a broad-ranging finance role. experience with Sage 50 & a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
