We have a great opportunity for a Press and PR Officer to join our team within the Central Services Team at Vistry Group. This role could be based at various locations including Bristol, Cheltenham, or our Midlands offices.
As our Press and PR Officer, you will be responsible for creating and delivering clear, impactful communication to external audiences in order to promote Vistry Group as a housebuilder, employer and partner of choice while supporting the management of Vistry' s reputation and those of our brands. You will take a journalistic approach to finding and then sharing the many good news stories across Vistry. A talented writer with a keen eye for what will work across video and other communication channels, you will be a proactive PR expert who knows what makes a good story and with energy and enthusiasm to sell that story to our stakeholders.

More about the Press and PR Officer role…
- Proactively contact teams and individuals in the business and take a journalistic approach to sourcing and disseminating good news stories
- Develop and implement PR campaigns around key topics that support Vistry's business strategy
- Write press releases, organise photography and video, target channels and distribute materials in support of the campaigns.
- Deal with media enquiries in a positive and timely manner, liaising with the appropriate individuals within the company.
- Support other external communication requirements such as liaising with regional land/planning teams in delivering consultation programmes (incl leverage of the 106 contributions at a local and regional level)
- Support for other PR and marketing activities in the department where required, including writing copy for campaigns, in addition to press releases
- Support in delivering Vistry' s social media strategy, including overseeing the social media accounts in the absence of the social media officer.
- This means daily posts to engage with our audiences across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn platforms to promote our brands.
- Managing incoming queries/complaints via social media in liaison with regional teams.
