Why?

'Never waste a good crisis' - We have very much embraced this notion in the London & South New Business Team at Willmott Dixon, and, are now looking for a Marketing Manager to join us as a key person in driving us forward. This is a significant opportunity for the right candidate as we seek someone who is excited by a blank sheet of paper and the ability to influence the future direction of our region.

Construction expertise is not important here, what we want is someone who is capable of seeing the bigger picture of a B2B marketing strategy and then executing it. We are a forward-thinking bunch who have been tasked with rebuilding the front end of the business and you will be a critical part of this journey. All of this will take place within the surety of a financially secure business, with an emphasis on culture, that also placed 5th in Sunday Times list of Best 100 Companies to Work For - better than any other construction company.

It's an exciting time in our business and we welcome anyone to apply who has a genuinely inquisitive mind, experience in any B2B marketing position, and wants to be part of something ambitious.

What?

Working flexible from home or our Weybridge office, you will:

  • Develop a marketing campaign to support our new B2B customer strategy of being 'the one partner you will ever need'
  • Work with the New Business Director to execute the strategy successfully
  • Use communications opportunities to build the reputation amongst our customers, by promoting successes and developing optimising channels and approaches to communicate our story
  • Be innovative in your approach to delivering communications initiative, internet and social media channels
  • Build relationships with existing customers to support their marketing strategies
  • Create, produce and deliver all scheduled and ad hoc communications, including email communications, presentation collateral and corporate documents
  • Proactively partnering with our internal stakeholders to ensure all stories are engaging and told in line with our company values
  • Write new and reviewing existing communications for consistency, clarity and excellence
  • Contribute to the new business strategy
  • Engage in and coordinate networking opportunities
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the industry and wider business world

Who?

Essential:

  • Experience of creating a marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • The desire and ability to think and act strategically as part of a wider business ambition

Benefits

In return we reward our people generously with a competitive package that gives you flexible benefits to fit your lifestyle and priorities. This includes but is not limited to, an enhanced pension scheme, full private medical, life assurance, incentive bonus and a car scheme which will make us a market leader in sustainable company travel. Applicable roles will benefit from a motoring expenditure allowance (MEA) and everyone can access a new generation of low carbon and electric cars via the Willmott Dixon run car leasing scheme.
