Sustainability Analyst - Remote Working - Part Time or Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst  to join our fast growing business. We are a purpose driven organisation and have ambitious non-financial goals around our people, planet and communities. The perfect candidate for this role will deliver on these commitments that we have made to our planet, and ensure that we are leaving no trace when it comes to the environment.

We are looking for somebody who is very comfortable gathering, organising, analysing and visualising data. You might be just starting out or looking for a bit of a career change. 

Responsibilities for the role:

  •  Help the organisation to achieve it’s net zero science based targets
  •  Develop and manage a company EMS (Energy Management System)
  •  Present carbon data and insights
  •  Support delivery our carbon reduction and removal strategies
  •  Work closely with our procurement team to ensure that our supply chain is aligned with our environmental targets
  •  Develop and promote sustainable working policies and benefits for employees globally
  •  Help to attain planet related accreditations and awards
  •  Keep up to date on the latest low-carbon or zero-carbon technologies and practises
  •  Provide wider support across all areas of our ESG work

Experience and skills:

  •  Excellent IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and data analysis
  •  Proactive and pragmatic approach to solving problems
  •  The ability to manage projects independently
  •  Naturally curious, self starting and enthusiastic
  •  Creative thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things with a continuous improvement attitude
  •  Basic understanding of carbon reporting and reduction would be helpful but can be taught
