The opportunity

We assign business analysts, from our Business Analysis Practice to customer projects. We are looking for Business Analysts to join our team and help us deliver digital transformation.

 

As a Business Analyst you will need:

  • A rich combination of experience, proven skills, and personal attributes.

  • Use of analysis methodology, templates, tools, and techniques, working within project standards.

  • Experience in an Agile environment’s and with DevOps.

  • A user-centred mindset.

  • A self-starter, a logical problem solver and a quick learner, with strong initiative and superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.

  • Client facing skills and the ability to establish and maintain good relationships.

  • The flexibility to suggest and apply a range of different tools and techniques to deliver the optimal outcome.

  • Communicating efficiently and work within a multi-disciplinary team, fostering the open and collaborative culture.

  • A positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.

 

Required skills and attributes:

  • Evidence of 3 years’ experience in Business Analysis - requirements gathering, with the documentation of processes, gather needs and analysing information using comprehensive tool.

  • Certification in the BSC Business Analysis syllabus, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrable experience of Business Analysis in Agile/scrum environments, writing user stories and managing product backlog.

  • Knowledge and experience of modelling business and requirements using for example UML (e.g. use cases and class diagrams) preferably within an established/structured method.

  • Take a user-centred design approach, understanding what the customer really wants/needs, eliciting requirements, processes, journeys, and wireframes.

  • Estimation of effort required to complete defined tasks.

  • Stakeholder management skills including the ability to negotiate and influence people effectively.

  • Exposure to common business analysis tools.

  • Evidence of experience in producing documentation such as presentations, briefings, feature specifications, and processes.

  • A broad background of types of project and application experience from a major end-user/IT Services/consultancy organisation.

  • Support practice leadership: taking on practice-wide/internal initiatives.

  • Work with the account to develop business and help pull together bids.

  • Candidates should be fully UK mobile: willing to work on projects across the UK and eligible for SC clearance.

 

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience of designing and delivering end-to-end digital products in through the GDS agile delivery framework.

  • Knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital services.

  • Use of collaboration tools and cloud-based web applications.

  • Robotic process automation experience.

  • Experience of supporting Product Owners or being a Product Owner.

  • Health, finance, and public sector experience.
