Overview
Eurosport is seeking an experienced Content lead for our Motorsport portfolio. Reporting to the SVP Content & Production, the Head of Motorsport will work to align our existing motorsport operations with new acquisitions. The role works across multiple categories, teams and markets to ensure a strategic approach to our content is developed and produced. Discovery Sports is a complex sports broadcaster with our pillar leads capable of managing a Europe wide sports operation.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including federations, organising committees, teams and competitors. Communicate a central strategy for Motorsport production, adding value to the content ecosystem Align existing motorsport portfolios Operate as an ambassador for Discovery Sports and its platforms Eurosport and Discovery+, Cultivate a positive workplace culture based on inclusion and accountability Proactively direct and maintain high standards of accountability within the business Lead indirect teams and functions as needed to ensure cohesiveness across the business.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in content & production with a focus on Motorsports, other sports would be advantageous Understanding of the sports television business, subscription television and sports streaming platforms Willingness to get stuck in Proven management leadership success in dynamic, fast paced environment Experience in working across international markets Maintain strong work ethics with high integrity Live sports is not a 9 to 5 environment, a flexible approach to working hours is important Fluent in English required with a good fluency in French or other European languages beneficial.
