This rewarding minibus driver/passenger assistant role is available for those looking to provide a reliable, safe and essential service to join our fabulous and welcoming team in Coventry!

With full training provided, we will welcome your application whether you have a D1 licence or a Manual Cat B car licence!

You will have the assistance of our talented training team who will support you to become a fully qualified D1 PCV licence holder, enabling you to confidently drive a 16 seater minibus!

As a minibus driver/passenger assistant you will enjoy the benefit of splitting your working hours over two shifts.You will enjoy the late morning and lunchtime to pursue your leisure activities.

Hours of work:

A split shift pattern of 07:00am-09:30am returning for 2:30pm-5:30pm

Working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only

Day to day you will be...

Working as a part of a team and sharing responsibility of driving / assisting passengers using the service

Driving a minibus to and maintaining a scheduled timetable (varies depending on school)

Driving to an excellent standard

Ensuring the safety of the pupils they are travelling with is the prime consideration

Working as part of a team to safely drive school children from home to school and back again

Ensuring seat belts are fastened, securing the children in to their harnesses where required

Conducting routine vehicle checks, ensuring your vehicle is safe

Making sure the pupils are safely handed over to a member of staff at the school and back to the approved parent/guardian on return
