Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our exclusive client to hire a permanent part time administrator to join them as the first office support hire for the office in Scotland.

This is an exciting time to join our client who are a global science consultancy business who mainly focus on the agricultural industry.

You will be an integral part to our clients office and your role will involve supporting the team including on occasions in New Zealand (we do require a degree of flexibility when required) Hours and days are flexible and open to negotiation for the right individual.

An office based role, however our client is working remotely when following local guidelines set out the government.

So, what will your role involve?

* Support in-office and working-from-home activities by acquiring and managing office equipment and consumables

* Engage with New Zealand administration and finance teams as required

* Provide a comprehensive administrative service including assisting in setting up workshops. internal meetings, taking minutes, chasing actions, and managing ad hoc queries.

* Undertake tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of the office

* Collation of input for fortnightly internal newsletters

* Converting documents to organised, standard formats for staff promptly and accurately

* Make travel bookings for staff and consultants

* Assist with the arrangements for conferences/seminars/catering

* Organisation of social events such as staff holiday party, office gifts, etc

* Other administrative duties as required from time to time

* Assist with the administration of the timesheet/ project management systems and payroll

* Arrange supplier quotations and office purchases

* Assist in banking and accounting administration, including expense reimbursements, bank feeds, and invoice management alongside New Zealand administration and finance teams

* Assist with preparation of management and board reports, as required

What do we require from you?

* Super organised administrator who can work on their own in managing workload, communicating and managing deadlines

* PC literate including Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally SharePoint

* Sales Force highly desirable

* First class communication skills

* Exceptional attention to detail

* Have a track record in a similar role
