Overview

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

We are looking for a UK qualified employment lawyer to provide general employment legal /people regulatory advice and support across the UK, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions as needed under the general direction of the Senior Director - Employment Legal.  This role works with and closely supports HR client groups and business stakeholders.  The role advises on UK matters and provides oversight and project management of international/multi-jurisdictional matters day to day with some supervision, including managing local outside counsel and providing practical advice and risk assessment to internal clients.


Responsibilities

  • Provision of UK legal advice
  • Management and practical application of international laws across the organization
  • Drafting/negotiation of standard employment documentation (employment contracts/settlement agreements/vendor agreements/employee policies etc)
  • Corporate support (M&A /JVs/multi country projects/Olympics support/oursourcing support)
  • Business integration (TUPE/integration of terms/benefits)
  • Employee data protection and immigration
  • Day to day queries and employee relations support


Qualifications

  • Solid UK employment law experience and qualifications essential
  • Clear, concise and practical communicator (oral and written); English fluency
  • Organised and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a solicitor within the employment law team of a law firm or in-house desired
  • Exposure to international employment laws and/or multinational corporate environment an advantage
