Inclusivity, the return to work specialists, are delighted to be partnering once again with NOMURA to launch their second Technology Returners programme!

Nomura is a financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries with head offices in Asia. By connecting markets East & West, Nomura service the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through four business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking), and Merchant Banking.

The Technology Returner programme will be based at Nomura’s London office and is designed for experienced IT professionals who are ready to build on previous skills and experience and want to embrace new opportunities ahead.

The paid programme commences on April 25thand finishes on the 15thJuly 2022. Whilst there is no guarantee of a permanent position, it is the goal, and therefore there will be genuine consideration for opportunities at the end of the programme depending on business needs and availability of appropriate roles. 80% of past returners moved into permanent positions after the programme.

This programme is a great opportunity to learn new skills, build a new network and gain exposure to exciting projects in a truly global financial services organisation.

The progamme is available on a 4 day a week or 5 day a week basis and remote working on a hybrid basis is the way many of Nomura employees work.

In addition to a supportive hiring manager,  during the 12 weeks you will be provided with a pre-commencement coaching and training day from Inclusivity, a one day induction to Nomura, three personal coaching sessions delivered by Inclusivity’s specialist coach, and relevant technical training for your role.

The Returners programme has 5 separate opportunities for technology returners.

This particular role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tech Returner with a background in Financial Crime and/or Surveillance Programme Managers. This is a perfect opportunity for a career returner who is looking to get back into their field of expertise on a part time or full time basis. The transition back into the work place following a career break can be challenging which is why we offer a full range of support and coaching throughout the duration of the programme.

The successful candidate will be a UK based subject matter expert with a credible and established track record of industry experience within a leadership role, covering either the Trade Surveillance and/or Financial Crime technology domain. The position requires knowledge of the European surveillance regulatory landscape.

This strategically important role will support the development of the Surveillance and Financial Crime Technology strategy, leveraging the latest platforms, technologies and service and oversee project implementation.

If you have had a career break of a minimum of 18 months and are looking to get back into the Financial Services Industry then please send your cv along with a cover letter and one of our career consultants will be in touch.
