Fundraising Administrator

Based in Edinburgh, we are looking for an experienced Administrator with a passion for fundraising to provide effective support to the Fundraising and Communications team and to work closely with the Finance and Resources team[EH1] .

Position: Fundraising Administrator

Location: Office Edinburgh (with some home working possible)

Hours: Part-time, 25.00 hours per week (flexible working considered)

Salary: GBP20,400-GBP22,000 (pro-rata)

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Excellent benefits package including 35 days per year pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays), Employer Pension contribution of 5%, Death in Service benefits, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the opportunity for flexible working.

The Role

The Fundraising Administrator is a key position at the charity working on day to day administrative tasks including donation coding, recording, thanking and supporting with various fundraising activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Fundraising administration support and general office administration
  • Processing donations and regular gifts
  • Support with administration of fundraising campaigns and events
  • Keeping mailing lists up to date
  • Processing Gift Aid claims
  • Record and bank cheques received at the Edinburgh office
  • Manage administration of UK wide online fundraising tools

About You

As Fundraising Administrator, you will have a flexible approach with an ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

You will have experience of:

  • Working in an administration role
  • Working in a customer/client facing role
  • Using Excel, Outlook, Word and other MS Office applications
