  • oversight of incidents, events and breaches
  • thematic work to provide thought leadership and challenge to the business on material risks and control effectiveness
  • attendance with active participation at key meetings to manage risks including the Business Risk Committee
  • using your technical knowledge to minimise the risks inherent as well as responsibility for oversight of key risk mitigation programmes.

We need the following skills/ experience from you...

  • Having experience of transformational risk oversight would be a differentiating factor.
  • Successfully leads delivery in complex environments, collaborating with other teams in the Risk Division.
  • Empowers team members to deliver their best through mentoring and developing their capabilities.
  • Competently uses operational risk data to evaluate the Group's management of Change Risk. Regularly providing challenging risk insight to support decision making.
  • Knows what good risk management looks like and clearly opines on it in a change context.
  • Uses communication and influencing skills to effectively convey your opinion at all levels within the organisation.
  • Is a keen advocate for risk management associated with large scale transformation and is in touch with the latest trends in the industry.
  • Has a passion to develop skills and work flexibly. Deepening your understanding of change innovation as it emerges and evolves.
  • Equally as meaningful is your can-do approach and resilience
  • Actively develops a forward view on risk management and adopts an inquisitive attitude to ensure the right outcomes are achieved for our customers.
