You'll work in Group CIO with cross-disciplinary squads of internal and partner colleagues, and 3rd party service vendors; delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high-quality software. Your experience will enable the development and delivery of new process and tools to improve and support colleague understanding, skills and capabilities. Whilst not crucial, it would be advantageous if you also have knowledge of data management together with an understanding of how data is used in relation to Power BI.

 

You'll be part of a team passionate about 0365 Power Platform - Power BI. We work in partnership to help the Business to understand and adopt Data Management standards in relation to Power BI, developing dashboards, creating re-usable connection patterns in line with our governance standards. This is an opportunity to extend your skills into other areas of the Power platform to support the business from the Power COE in the everyday use.

 

What you'll get involved with;

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining Power BI learning, communication and culture approach and helping to drive a shift in self service IT.

  • Working with projects to understand requirements and providing consultancy, design and development.

  • Working closely with architects across the business to help them understand Power technical capabilities and how they integrate with other bank applications.

  • Defining new processes to enable Power adoption.

  • Advocating and supporting standard methodology in the use of Power platform.

 

We'll expect you to support and constructively challenge the business, helping grow the understanding and adoption of new technology frameworks. You'll have the confidence to bring fresh approaches and new insights to reality in an open collaborate environment where we encourage you to constantly learn.

 

About you;

  • Experience of Power platform tools - Power BI, Power Apps, Automate

  • Power platform development in particular Power BI, Dax, Python

  • Ability to design, build and problem solve deep technical problems

  • Working technical knowledge of x86 based Windows Server, Linux, VMWare infrastructure (additional knowledge of network infrastructure an advantage).

  • Good understanding of Power Apps, Automate and 0365 in general

 

You'll also have an appetite for learning new technology, problem solving and desire to get involved in innovative ideas that you can bring to life.

***This role can be based out of our Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Halifax, Leeds or London hubs - we're mainly looking for the above skillsets. The broad base salary banding across the UK is from £53,000pa to £80,000pa. Salaries in the London area will be reflected towards the upper end of this bracket***
