We are looking for the successful candidate to contribute to the smooth running of the credit control team, reporting in to the Credit Control manager. Part time, 20 hours per week.
- Process the daily cash
- Contact customers for debt collection purposes or other payment issues
- Run the debtors exposure reports and communicate to required staff
- Process value only credits and invoices
- Run and action the hold and pro-forma reports
- Set up new account credit facilities
- Run the sales ledger month end reports
- Work with creditserve risk audit to give regular updates
- Deal with general accounts queries from customers, via email or phone
- Attend and participate internal meetings as required
Key skills required:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets
- Reasonable level of general computer literacy
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office software (excel/word/email)
- Ability to deal with challenging customers
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions successfully through to completion
- Previous experience of working in credit control
- Ability to work independently but also as part of small team to get the jobs completed
