A superb opportunity has arisen for an Organisational Risk professional to join a collaborative team at a large Financial services compensation organisation.

Joining the second line of defence as Organisational Risk Business Partner you will be working closely with the Organisational Risk Manager and Head of Organisational Risk and Resilience to ensure that the quality of risk data is accurate, relevant and timely communicated to the Board, Risk Committee and the Executive Team in accordance with the organisations Risk Management Framework.

The role presents fantastic exposure to key stakeholders within the Risk and Resilience team and the wider organisation.

The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
*Responsibility for the maintenance of the central repository of risk data to ensure accuracy and completeness, ensuring that the central 'Risk Universe' of relevant risks, associated mitigating controls, actions and metrics are adhered to.

*Development of risk related documented Management Information which supports decision making.

*Assessing that the risk tools, systems and processes are managed effectively and take the lead on the continuous improvement of these ensuring they are effective and fit for purpose.

*Maintaining these risk tools, procedures and guidance and forming a business data library to better enable the Risk Team to monitor performance across the organisation.

*Ensuring reporting processes are fit for purpose to maintain the efficiency, accuracy and content of reports

*Testing of key controls to provide independent assurance over their use and supporting the risk review process as and when required.

As the Organisational Risk Business Partner stakeholder engagement is key always ensuring a high quality of communication and enhancing the reputation of the organisational risk team through all interactions in the testing and review process.
You will also be required to support the organisation through training and SME knowledge on risk management methodologies and tools ensuring risk awareness is disseminated across the company.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
*Appropriate experience and knowledge in the field of risk management
*Sound understanding of the UK financial services sector
*Strong analytical ability and able to analyse, interpret and communicate data efficiently and effectively.
*Demonstrable stakeholder management skills, across all three lines of defence as well as with senior level stakeholders
*Experience of completing controls testing (both process and technical) and producing reports and in analysing data.
*Ideally experience of operating / managing a GRC tool and holding a Relevant Risk Management qualification.
