Are you a talented D2C marketer who is motivated by delivering results and wants a role with a social purpose? We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to take on the newly-created role of Marketing Manager which is responsible for rapidly growing our customer base.

At Good Life Sorted we're professionalising home help for elderly people and are looking for a passionate, creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to help take our business to the next stage. As a marketplace we have two audiences – Helpers and Customers – and this role is responsible for raising awareness and generating high-quality leads for both.

About Good Life Sorted

Launched in 2019, social enterprise start-up Good Life Sorted (https://goodlifesorted.com/) is an online marketplace connecting older adults and their families with hand-picked local Helpers, who provide a range of home help services like cleaning, welfare checks, laundry, shopping, dog walking, meal preparation and above all, companionship. We’re experiencing exponential growth and, following a recent funding round, we’re growing our team and embarking on our next phase of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and manage marketing campaigns at a local and national level to increase brand awareness, acquire new customers and recruit new helpers
  • Test new marketing messaging and channels (online and offline), measure the results and optimise for future campaigns
  • Manage the creation of engaging and relevant content, including video, images and landing pages
  • Manage tracking, optimise the conversion funnel and maintain marketing reports to track performance and enable effective planning

Required skills & knowledge

  • Degree educated, or A-Levels (or similar) plus at least 2 years' experience in a performance-driven marketing role at a B2C start-up, charity or agency
  • Creative flair, with an abundance of great ideas and the ability to create engaging content (eg. Adobe Suite, Canva)
  • Data driven and proficient on a wide range of platforms and tools including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and performance metrics, and a background in data-driven decision making
  • Online marketplace or 'gig economy' experience is highly desirable

You’ll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a willingness to roll your sleeves up and support all areas of the business.

Reporting to the Cofounder who is a highly experienced leader in Marketing and Operations, this role is a key member of a fast-growing team. We have a fantastic work environment with a lovely London office as well as hybrid/flexible working arrangements. We strive to hire the best people and empower them to deliver on their goals while knowing they’re making a positive difference to people’s lives.

We’re offering a salary of up to £45k as well as participation in our share option scheme and 25 days’ annual holiday.
