Sytner Group have a rare and exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join the Mercedes-Benz Division, covering a designated market area in the Northeast of England.  This is a hybrid role which encompasses a flexible balance of home working and on-site support.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholder to provide high quality support and influence positive change. Engaging with the wider team, you will lead a number of exciting initiatives and actively contribute towards the implementation of the People Strategy.

This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at a strategic level with the senior leadership team. You will demonstrate your creativity and innovative approach in all aspects of the role and proactively contribute new and original ideas. A stimulating and progressive position with the ability to truly add value to the business.

With our Head Office in Leicester, you will need to be appropriately located and have the flexibility to travel between locations. You will adopt primary responsibility for our four retailers in the Northeast (Teesside, Sunderland, Newcastle and Carlisle) and also provide support across the entire Division.

 

In a fast paced environment, you will be responsible for providing sound professional HR advice and guidance at all levels and across all HR disciplines. Drawing upon skill and experience, you will ensure your stakeholders are compliant with procedural and legislative requirements, demonstrating intuitive thinking and a pragmatic approach. 

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about people, is commercially aware and understands the needs of the business. You will need to possess a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of employment law and have the ability to apply this with a sensible and practical approach.

 

Applications from individuals possessing CIPD Level 5 or above in Human Resource Management would be favorable. Equally, those with equivalent HR generalist experience in a fast paced environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
