Overview:

Our client is looking for a receptionist/administrator to join their caring team. They're looking for a friendly and welcoming, customer-focused individual to be their first point of contact for all visitors entering the home and those contacting the home by phone or email.

Possessing excellent administrative and organisational skills, you'll need to be capable of managing general office duties as well as the financial aspects of residency within the home, including the scheduling of residents' monthly fees, changes to fees administration and communication, processing and managing staff payroll.

To provide a friendly welcoming and professional 'meet and greet' to all visitors to the home
To ensure all calls are answered in a timely and professional manner and emails are dealt with promptly and appropriately, or forwarded to the correct staff
To arrange meetings and diary appointments as required by the Home Manager
To monitor all enquiries into the home, data capture, track, and report outcomes
To administer and control the petty cash for the care home
To ensure all post is dealt with accurately and promptly
To ensure strict compliance to company policies and procedures.
To take minutes of meetings
To produce offers letters and contracts for new employees, apply for references, process DBS checks, administer right to work in the UK checks and set up personal files.
To prepare all payroll information for processing each month.
To maintain electronic records of all staff absences.
To maintain and update residents room details and necessary forms, ensuring all updates are communicated to the relevant partiesTo be successful in this role you'll have to:

Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Recognised qualifications or experience
Good numeracy and verbal communication skills
