Willmott Dixon are currently looking to recruit for an Administrator to provide administrative support to our People Team in our London and East construction business. Based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, we deliver construction projects across multiple sectors within north London, the northern home counties and East Anglia. This will be a hybrid role with a mix of office and remote working.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide a full and efficient generalist administration service to both internal and external customers. This position would ideally suit someone who has previous experience in an administration role. You will need to have good attention to detail, excellent time management and coordination skills as well as being a confident communicator. You will also need to be IT savvy and capable of learning how to use our HR and other administration systems.

As an Administrator in the People Team, you will be responsible for:

* Handling all people and manager queries where possible, including benefit queries and company car management
* Dealing with payroll processes, including contractual and salary changes
* All aspects of generalist people admin, including management of our people systems, coordination of training and the DBS process

Essential and Desirable Criteria

The skills/experience you will need as a People Administrator include:

* Excellent IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent written skills; grammar, spelling and composition
* Excellent time management skills
* Administration experience
