As the Procurement Manager for Media the role has a strong focus on Media Category Strategy Development, as well as Supplier Relationship Management. You will work closely with media teams and agencies to find opportunities to improve outcomes for Sky's marketing & media activity.

What you'll do:
  • Work with and report to the Senior Procurement Manager - Media to deliver against Group Procurement objectives across the Sky Group, Comcast and NBCU.
  • Own Media category spend of $600m+, develop spend strategies together with colleagues, lead execution and be accountable for results.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the factors and challenges faced in the Media industry and be able to use this knowledge to introduce innovation and challenge current business processes.
  • Run multiple deals simultaneously with increased complexity, collaborate with stakeholders pro-actively, and set out longer term plan.
  • Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including Sky-wide cost-saving programmes.
  • Be capable of evaluating options against all relevant factors i.e. technical, commercial, logistical, risk etc and recommending the best option to the business.
  • Help develop and deliver procurement initiatives and best practice, whilst supporting the marketing procurement team with renewals, RFPs and team projects.
  • Monitor the performance of our agency contracts, utilising important metrics and feedback sessions.
What you'll bring:
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to bring people together.
  • Media and/or marketing procurement is desirable.
  • Experience handling contracting processes (renewals, SoWs, contract negotiations).
  • Able to lead difficult conversations and negotiations.
  • A natural thirst for learning and problem solving.
