Job Details

Are you passionate about driving high profile marketing strategies and looking for a leadership position within an organisation investing to create a better future? This could be the job for you.

We are looking for an experienced senior marketing manager to help drive the development and management of the Green Investment Group (GIG) and Macquarie marketing programmes across multiple markets, functions, and channels.

In this role you will be a senior member of the Corporate Affairs team, supporting the GIG marketing programme globally and the Macquarie marketing programme in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will work closely with a highly motivated and experienced group of business-minded marketing, communications, and events specialists. Based in either London or Edinburgh, you will be an inclusive leader for an expert team of direct reports.

To thrive in this role, you will be an experienced commercial brand and marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering significant or high-profile brand and marketing projects. Experience of working on international brands or overseas would be welcome, but not essential.

Typical projects will include: brand development and management (we create new subsidiary brands like https://www.cerogeneration.com/ Cero Generation); creative execution of campaigns (like our recent work on https://www.macquarie.com/uk/en.html Macquarie in the UK); website development and management (for https://www.greeninvestmentgroup.com/en.html  GIG and Macquarie); social media strategy and execution (you’ll be the global lead for GIG channels and support Macquarie’s work in EMEA); ensure alignment of activity to global brand positioning; measure and assess ongoing impact of brand across external channels and use insights to drive improved performance.

To do this you’ll be a great builder and manager of relationships, in the business and with agencies. You will also be a subject matter expert, across recent market trends and applying best practice to drive our strategy and activity.

Make a critical impact to an industry renowned organisation, apply today.

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
