What you'll do

 

  • This role is a blend of both business and technical analysis focusing predominantly on the self-service and Agent journeys of Sales and Service, supporting both European and US markets. Given the nature of the role it is perfect for someone who wants to work alongside product while also being involved in the lower-level technical detail. You'll be part of the Sales and Service Central Analyst team working closely with Product and Technology in the early stages of a project. Providing a high-level impact assessment of the requirements end to end, specially focusing on my account and agent service journeys covering both the frontend UI and backend services.Analyse business requirements against the technical solution provided by the Solution Architects and Principal Engineers. Ensuring that the customer experience is always front of mind, and that the requirements and solution are fit for purpose.Facilitate and actively participate in workshops to introduce projects and solutions to delivery teams alongside Product and Architecture. Collaborate with Technical Analysts that are embedded in delivery teams, providing clarification on team specific questions and validate assumptions related to a given project.Create, update, and maintain documentation including artefacts such as API specifications, Sequence diagrams and flow charts. Identify and mitigate dependencies; calling out project level dependencies that need to be addressed at the point of road mapping and solution specific dependencies that require contracts to be agreed between teams, both internal and external.


What you'll bring:

 

  • Experience working with product and agile technology delivery teams, an understanding of work intake processes and agile ways of working.Hands on analysis experience in technology projects, problem-solving skills, and an enthusiasm to learn.The ability to interpret and modify technical artifacts including API specifications, architectural sequence diagrams, flow charts and communicate them confidently to others.Ability to define requirements through interviews/workshops and to improve processes and working practices, balancing costs and benefits when evaluating possible solutions.Adaptability, no two days are the same at Sky - and even more so in our team supporting multiple portfolios of work. The ability to be flexible in your approach and be able to context switch is key.Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, the ability to bring people together to work towards the same end goal/objectives.Great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present to audiences from a variety of backgrounds, spanning Product and Technology.
